The Camargue is a famous French natural region located on the Mediterranean Sea. The Camargue is a wetland of 150,000 hectares—more than 200,000 soccer fields—which is home to many animal and plant species. The natural heritage of the Camargue is endangered by the pollution carried by the main river, the Rhone, the retreat of natural areas in favor of agriculture, hunting, and the sea that erodes the beaches of the coast. It is a beautiful landscape to see.
