Marbella is one of the luxury tourist destinations of the Mediterranean. The small town stretches along forty-four kilometers (27 miles) of coastline. Due to the proximity of the mountains to the coast, the city has a large gap between its north and south sides, which allows for sea and mountain views from almost every point in the city.
