Life disappears from burned lands

Avila fire Life disappears from burned lands Arboreal

The biggest forest fire of this year in Spain has burned 21,000 hectares—an area equivalent to 30,000 soccer fields—near Avila, in the center of the country. The Mediterranean climate covers almost the entire territory of Spain, with increasing temperatures and a drought that persists. We are working hard to restore the burned forests of the Mediterranean and create buffer zones with pastures, without trees, which helps to reduce the spread of fires.
