Climate change weakens forest resistance to fire

Green shoots often emerge from tree trunks and the ground after wildfires, thanks to the  ability of many  plants to survive even the most intense flames. But in recent years, the duration, frequency and intensity of forest fire  in countries such as Spain, Greece, Turkey, Australia, Bolivia, or Argentina have increased. And they will get even worse with climate change.
