Restoring the Mediterranean Forests

Med Map Med Report Nicolas Picard Restoring the Mediterranean Forests Arboreal

Ten countries—Algeria, France, Iran, Israel, Lebanon, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey—have voluntarily committed to restore 8 million hectares of degraded forests in the Mediterranean, which represents more than 3 billion trees.  We have launched the Mediterranean Green Belt to help restore and protect the forests of the Mediterranean. When a forest in the Mediterranean burns or is sick, it is our forest, a common good, that dies.
