Less water for many people in the Mediterranean

The water situation in the entire Mediterranean coastal area is quite worrying. We have 7% of the world  population and 3% of the water resources. At the moment, in the whole Mediterranean area there are 180 million people who are considered water poor or with difficulties of access to water. And if we continue with current trends, by the year 2050 this will rise to 250 million, that’s a lot of people.
